Proposals being drafted to update legislation
Dr Alex Allinson says updating Manx abortion law could help towards improving legislation in the UK.
The Ramsey MHK got Keys approval last month to introduce a private members bill on the matter - and proposals are now being drafted.
Abortions are only permitted in certain circumstances on the Island, which are more restrictive than those in England & Wales.
Dr Allinson says he's taking advice from those who have drawn up laws elsewhere.
