Applications open for 2025 collections
Island charities seeking a financial boost are being urged to contact Douglas City Centre Management over the next few weeks.
The application process for flag days and street collections in the capital in 2025 is now open.
The annual initiative is designed to help charities and voluntary groups towards the cost of delivering their services.
Organisations wishing to hold collections in the capital next year can submit their application ahead of the deadline on Friday, 8 November.
Bids for licences will also be considered in non-city centre areas of Douglas on a first-come, first-served basis.
Douglas City Centre Manager Oliver Cheshire said: "The invaluable work of Island charities and good causes is well documented and the Manx public are as generous as they come but, of course, that is never taken for granted.
"At a time when the cost of living is impacting on people’s income as much as ever, the team at DCCM hopes street collections and flag days can go some way to help the charities raise a little bit extra.
"We would urge them to contact us between now and 8 November."

Douglas City Centre Management allows a maximum of 28 collections each year in the city centre.
