An Island charity is going to start helping those with addictions to gaming.
Motiv8, based on Woodbourne Road in Douglas, already helps those struggling with addictions to the likes of drugs, alcohol and gambling.
Now, it's been approved to support those who may be becoming dependent on their games consoles and PC's.
The organisation's director, Thea Ozenturk, says gaming addictions can affect social lives and has also heard reports of it causing Vitamin D deficiency.
She also explains why it may have become more prominent in recent times:
