Union leader speaks out as senior NAHT officials come to Island
The Island could be heading for a "perfect storm" in education.
That's according to the National Secretary of the National Association of Head Teachers, Rob Kelsall.
The General Secretary and the National President of the NAHT are on the Island today (Tues 19) for meetings with executive members of the union on the Island over an ongoing pay dispute.
Speaking on Mandate this morning, Mr Kelsall says the union also has significant concerns about the proposed Education Bill currently out for consultation, and is calling for it to be withdrawn to allow for proper discussion to take place.
