PAG meeting at Manx Legion Club on 24th April
An advocate for ending the 'war on drugs' says the Island could lead the way in reforming the law.
Jane Slater heads up the UK based pressure group TRANSFORM, and will give a presentation at the Positive Action Group's next meeting in Douglas on Monday (24th).
She claims the continued prohibition of illicit substances keeps the market under criminal control - and makes it harder to reduce harm for those who take them.
That meeting takes place at 7.30pm at the Manx Legion Club, Douglas.
The presentation will state her case for a different approach:
Creamery working to solve the mystery of tight screw caps on cartons
Young people's bereavement drop in service coming to an end
Pub's inclusive toilet signs vandalised
£100K cash injection for energy efficiency scheme
Regulator investigates potential Manx Radio licence compliance issue
