Martin Rankin works for the emergency doctors' service
An Island GP has called on the Manx community to 'keep going' with Covid-19 restrictions to eradicate the disease here once and for all.
Martin Rankin works night shifts for the emergency doctors' service, from around 6pm to 8am and doesn't think there should be an easing of the rules yet.
Mr Rankin created a video in the early hours of this morning, with an insight into his work and surroundings, including the new Newlands ward, where coronavirus patients are sent for palliative care.
"Please, please do not relax the lockdown, until we've got this disease eradicated."
In the video he implores the local community to stick together by staying indoors, pointing to graphs suggesting the current restrictions are working.
