
The Gaiety theatre has provided a sumptuous backdrop this weekend for shooting of a major new feature film based on the TV spy drama Spooks.
Bar areas at the Gaiety were the backdrop yesterday (Sat) for tense scenes set at an MI5 cocktail party in a London West End theatre.
Scores of local people secured roles as extras during more than two weeks of on-location filming around the Isle of Man.
Bev Lawley from Ex-Isle Casting Agency has sent producers the extras needed for each stage of the varied Manx shoot.
She says filling the roles has been an exciting challenge:
