More flooding and disruption is on the way as the Island's east coast takes another battering from high tides and strong winds today.
Forecasts suggest the situation will be much the same but no worse than that seen on Saturday, when Castletown, Douglas and Ramsey were hit for the third time since the start of the year.
Today the promenades in Laxey and central Douglas will bear the brunt, with large amounts of debris likely to be thrown over sea walls.
Road closures will once again be enforced and buses diverted.
DoI, coastguard and emergency planning teams are on standby to help where needed with high tide due today at 1.50 pm.
Chief Emergency Planning Officer Ian Young is urging commuters to plan ahead as the key route through Douglas proms will be closed to traffic for much of the day:
