30,000th playing of last post at Ypres
Island fire stations are joining a worldwide event to commemorate those who served in World War I.
The 'Last Post' bugle call is played every night in Ypres, Belgium at the Menin Gate as a tribute to the fallen.
On July 9, it will be the 30,000th time the piece has been played since the war and fire stations across the world are invited to mark the occasion.
Cheif Officer Kevin Groom says he's proud to organise such a touching tribute.
