Manxman joins Christa Cain with achievement
Isle of Man athlete Corrin Leeming set a new Island Games record on his way to winning gold yesterday.
Competing the men's 10,000m, Leeming finished in a time of 29mins56.11secs, breaking the 16-year-old record by eight seconds.
He becomes the first competitor to complete the race in under 30 minutes.
Leeming controlled the race from the start and finished by over two minutes ahead of second place.
He joins Christa Cain who also won gold by setting a new games record the day before.
The Manxman explained how he knew he could take advantage early:
