50 people to walk through the capital on Saturday
Fifty people will take to the streets of Douglas on Saturday for The Long Walk to Pride.
They will carry a 50 metre rainbow flag through the capital, and into the Villa Marina gardens, to mark the start of the Isle of Man's first Pride Festival.
Specially designed placards, which tell the story of the struggle for equality over the last 100 years, will also be displayed.
They include never before seen images, and stories, from the Island's queer archives.
Numbers on the walk are restricted due to 'logistical issues' with the promenade.
The festival, which will celebrate LGBTQAI+ diversity, takes place on 12 June.
