Reduction of waste is key
The Isle of Man needs to reduce the amount of waste it produces.
That's according to the Chair of the Climate Change Transformation Team, who recently gave evidence to Tynwald's Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee.
When asked how the Island could dispose of waste in a more environmentally friendly manner, Daphne Caine MHK said the Island needs to embrace the practice of reduce, reuse and recycle.
Mrs Caine added that the Island has a "terrible record" regarding recycling:
