Health Minister comments on worldwide medicine shortage
The Health Minister has refuted suggestions a move to protect drug supplies is down to Brexit.
David Ashford says it's due to a worldwide shortage of some medicines.
If the protocol is approved by Tynwald, a pharmacist will be able to give a prescribed item in a different form than that on the prescription from the start of December.
Mr Ashford says the Island has a cast-iron guarantee from the UK that it will be treated like all other regions:
