Proposal put forward after multi-million pound loss
After a multi-million pound deficit, a revival of an Island film industry is up for discussion.
Last year it was confirmed the Media Development Fund, linked to the government's deal with Pinewood Studios, lost more than £26 million.
However, producer Tim Fielding is looking to establish a working film industry based entirely on the Isle of Man.
Mr Fielding believes this is something the Island could also achieve, with the likes of Netflix and Amazon successfully producing their own content.
He says with indie film producers now looking outside the big cities for production, there's a window of opportunity: (play audio)
