Delegates discussing how to make the most of status
The Island is hosting a summit for members of a UNESCO body from around the British Isles today (17 June).
Biosphere Reserve status was awarded to the Isle of Man three months ago, for having an outstanding environment in which to live and work.
Representatives from other biosphere sites in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland will hold their biannual meeting in Government Offices, to discuss how to make the most of their UNESCO status.
They'll also be given a tour of Tynwald and shown around some of the sights of the Island.
