The annual British and Irish Sound Archive conference and training event is continuing on the Island today (18 May).
Thirty delegates are attending the conference at the Manx Museum and taking a tour of the Manx Radio studios.
Speakers include industry experts from the Science Museum and British Library as well as Paul Weatherall, Library and Archive officer and Roland Arden-Corris, AV Technician, both from Manx National Heritage, who will present a Manx case study of digitising sound archives.
Creating digital archive records is part of the iMuseum online project and selected treasures from the Isle of Man including recordings of native Manx Gaelic speakers, are now searchable on their website: imuseum.im
