Move from primary to secondary crucial time says expert
An educational expert says the Isle of Man is a leading light when it comes to supporting children moving up to secondary school.
Dave Harris, a former headteacher and author, has been on the Island discussing the importance of the transition from primary school.
He says it happens at a time which is physically and emotionally demanding enough for youngsters and getting it wrong can lead to numerous long term issues.
But Mr Harris says the Island's education system can be held up as an example of how to do things properly:
