Causes investigated - but department can only do so much
The Island may have to ensure it's properly prepared for more flooding incidents in years to come.
That's the belief of Director of Ports, Ann Reynolds.
Speaking on this year's News Review and following recent devastating flooding in parts of the Island, she says current evidence seems to suggest more extreme weather events are likely in years to come.
Ms Reynolds says the Department of Infrastructure always investigates the causes of floods on the Island but there's only so much they can do.
