Planning for new ferry terminal no problem says Anderson
The Island is part of the 'northern powerhouse'
That's the belief of the mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson.
He was speaking following the confirmation of the building of a new £30 million ferry terminal for the Steam Packet at Princes Half Tide Dock.
Appearing live on Mandate this morning (Mon 10/09), Mr Anderson claimed the price of the new development was small when viewed against the long-term economic benefits.
He added that he didn't believe there would be any problem with planning.
