BBC investigates Manx Gas prices
A BBC investigation says Manx customers are paying twice as much for their gas as they would in the UK.
The You & Yours radio programme looked into energy prices on the Island after being contacted by a Manx Gas consumer.
On the programme was Richard Lowes from the University of Exeter’s energy policy group, who specialises in gas market regulation.
He was asked for his verdict on Manx Gas prices after the company changed the way it charges for energy:
