Chief Minister issues reassurance as debate rages
The Chief Minister Howard Quayle believes the Isle of Man is as prepared as it can be for the possibility of a "No Deal Brexit" at the end of March.
The Manx government has issued a statement to reassure people the matter is actively being looked at and representations are being made to UK authorities.
The main areas under consideration are the supply of fuel, medicines and food to the Island.
Fuel and gas supplies are either shipped or piped from the UK so no interruption is expected.
Mr Quayle says the Island is being treated no differently than the UK regarding food and medicine supplies.
