Island property sales up in April

But average prices appear to have fallen

The local property market picked up pace in April.

168 transactions were recorded at the Island's Land Registry, according to the website propertyprices.im

The total was 57 higher than in March, though the average price per property was significantly lower. 

The April average was around £340,600, compared with over £374,500 the month before.

Total sales in March came to over £41.5 million, compared with nearly £57.25 million in April.
