Arbory community celebrates ties with Captain Quilliam and Battle of Trafalgar
More than 100 people packed into Arbory Church last night (Wednesday) to hear about one of the Island's greatest maritime heroes.
The community of Arbory celebrated the naval ties it enjoys with Captain John Quilliam and the famous Battle of Trafalgar.
Organised by the Quilliam Group, the annual lecture was presented by Professor of Naval History at King's College London, Andrew Lambert.
He says interest remains high, more than 200 years on from the battle.
