Pair to visit Blackpool, Lancaster and Liverpool
Two friends are travelling to the north west of England this weekend to help homeless people in need.
Valerie Miller and Rebecca Varley will be handing out donated clothing and sleeping bags to rough sleepers in Liverpool, Blackpool and Lancaster.
Toiletries and personal care products are also to be given out.
Valerie is a keen helper of the community, and runs Mother T's in Laxey which is currently collecting items for the cause.
Four years ago, she spent three weeks living as a homeless person in England, to get an insight into what it's like to be out on the streets.
The journey is supported by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company.
