Battle to be marked on Sunday
It's important to remember the Island's role in the Battle of Britain on the 75th anniversary this weekend.
So says Director of the Manx Aviation and Military Museum Ivor Ramsden.
People across Britain will honour the victims and veterans of World War Two on the landmark occasion this Sunday (July 12).
Isle of Man Post Office has released a series of stamps to commemorate the day.
Pobjoy Mint has also released a new 'cupro nickel' coin on behalf of the Isle of Man government.
The collector's coin on one side has a British Spitfire flying over the White Cliffs of Dover with a German Messerschmitt on its tail.
On the other side is an effigy of the Queen, Lord of Mann.
