Events cancelled and parents take own action
Isle of Man Government is in a position to close schools and ban large gatherings following its move to the delay phase to try and combat coronavirus.
However, Health Minister David Ashford says we are not in a position yet where these measures will be introduced.
Some Island events are being cancelled as a precaution despite official advice and Manx Radio has been contacted by a few parents who have decided to keep their children off school.
