But temperatures didn't break weather record
The Isle of Man didn't quite reach record temperatures today (26 May), but it was close.
It has officially been the hottest May day in recorded history in England and Wales - with temperatures hitting 35°C in west London.
Here on the Island, we reached a high of 23.1°C; the hottest day of the year so far.
However, the existing top temperature record for May is 23.7°C.
