The national speed limit is being eased from 15 June
The national speed limit is to be lifted to 60mph with effect from 15 June.
A 40mph all-Island limit was put into force at the end of March, in order to reduce the number of crashes and ease the strain on emergency services during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle confirmed the changes at the latest government media conference:
