21 year old 'tricked' into believing place confirmed
There's been a happy ending for an Island student who believes she was 'conned' out of a place at performing arts college.
Beth Brown quit her job, took out loans and spent thousands on accommodation after being accepted into Liverpool's Elliott-Clarke Academy.
But her tutors suddenly broke ranks with the college, leading to the collapse of her course.
The 21-year-old claims she was 'tricked' into believing her place was confirmed.
Although she has since found a place at another college in Merseyside, Beth says she was left distraught:

'Essential' that school staff recognise the signs of an allergic reaction
'High' risk of wildfires over the next week
'Come From Away' to continue after cast member injured during rehearsal
'Parks in worse state then when I started' says Peel commissioner
