Charity says contrasting trends between UK and IoM
It's the Big Garden Birdwatch this weekend and hundreds of local people will be joining over a million in the UK in counting and logging the feathered visitors to their gardens.
The annual survey is co-ordinated by the RSPB, and provides vital information about which species are thriving and which are in decline.
The Big Garden Birdwatch has been running for 50 years, during which time the number of birds in British skies has reduced by over 30 million.
