Charity initiative supports some of the world's poorest nations
Senior government financial leaders from some of the world's poorest and most remote nations will be on the Isle of Man this weekend.
They'll be taking part in the Small Countries Financial Management Programme at the Nunnery, which brings together officials who work in finance ministries, central banks and regulatory bodies.
The programme is run by Manx charity, The Small Countries Financial Management Centre, and is the brainchild of Professor Tim Cullen MBE, who still plays a leading role.
Executive Director Gary Roberts says this initiative means the Island plays a significant part in helping those less fortunate than we are:

£41K spent on encouraging people to shop local
Baton of Hope to come back to Isle of Man
CoC 'keen' for continuity of sidecar racing at TT
2026 Manx Grand Prix to begin today
