Government reports on labour market
The Island's unemployment rate remains at 0.8 per cent in October, the same level as the previous month.
It's calculated by examining the proportion of economically active population registered unemployed.
Compared with the same figures last year, the number of people without jobs has decreased from 552, to 336 persons on the unemployment register.
More vacancies have been notified at the job centre through October, with 426 posts remaining unfilled at the end of the month.
The International Labour Organisations estimates 781 people are out of work in October, compared to 783 in September - setting it's own unemployment rate of 1.8%.
