Biggest upgrade since 19th century
Islanders going across to Liverpool are being reminded about possible disruption to their travel plans.
Lime Street station is closed whilst it receives what's billed as its biggest upgrade since the 19th century.
The work will see the number of platforms at the station increase, new overhead line equipment installed and the track upgraded.
The station is scheduled to re-open on 22 October
