Breast surgeon and breast radiologist leaving health body
Manx Care says there'll be no disruption to breast services on the Isle of Man despite the departure of two senior members of staff.
The consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon and consultant breast radiologist are leaving on 16 February.
Arrangements for cover have been made to ensure breast screening, breast symptomatic clinics and provision of breast surgery services can continue.
Manx Care says it’s also looking to advertise for a permanent breast surgeon and breast radiologist following receipt of approval of their job descriptions.
This has to be done by the Royal College of Surgeons and Royal College of Radiologists before recruitment can get underway.
