High number of patients requiring hospitalisation
The Isle of Man’s health service is in a ‘really tricky situation’ due to higher than usual levels of winter illness.
Noble’s Hospital is said to be ‘under a lot of pressure’ with a high number of patients needing care.
People are being urged to take steps to help protect elderly and vulnerable people, and the medical staff who care for them, by taking steps to reduce the spread of illness.
