Newly-appointed CEO discusses department's budgetary challenges
Funding the Island's health service as it heads into the endemic stage of tackling Covid-19 is a challenge for Manx Care and the Department of Health and Social Care.
That's from the department's recently-appointed chief executive Karen Malone.
With two unions currently balloting members over pay offers for healthcare workers, Mrs Malone says pay awards have to factor into her department's overall budget.
But she warns the populations' needs have changed since the start of the pandemic:
