Manx Radio Chair and MD give evidence to committee
The Chairman of Manx Radio says whether or not the BBC becomes the Island’s public service broadcaster is “entirely a decision for the politicians”.
Bill Mummery was responding to a question from Dr Alex Allinson MHK, who is Chair of the Tynwald Select Committee investigating the provision of PSB on the Island.
Mr Mummery, along with Managing Director Anthony Pugh, argue that the station is underfunded.
Mr Pugh told the committee there had been no proper feedback on Treasury's decision to decline a request for £1.2 million of funding.
