Law undergraduate says Gov't is failing her
A local undergraduate believes the Island's university finance system is failing Manx students.
Kathryn Sharman, who studies Law in the UK, says there's a stark contrast in how Manx students are treated by the Isle of Man Government, relative to the experiences of their UK peers.
Miss Sharman acknowledges that Manx students graduate with a fraction of the debt their UK peers will have, meaning they're better off in the long run.
However, she thinks there's too much reliance on the immediate family to provide financial security during their children's studies:
