Cabinet office minister due to publish inward migration report in coming weeks
It's important to ensure the Island has visa routes that are fit for purpose and not open to abuse.
That's from Cabinet Office Minister David Ashford, who's due to bring a report on inward migration for debate in July.
It comes as the UK is also considering changes to its immigration policy; Mr Ashford says the Island typically aligns itself with the UK.
The minister says the Island must make sure its visa system can't be exploited by criminals:
Smile of Mann programme to start in primary schools next year
Loganair passengers yet to be reunited with bags left in Manchester on Sunday
Kirk Michael man taking on 31 marathons in 31 days in memory of friend
Government grant partially funded fishing vessel later used for smuggling
