Green theme for 9th year of IOMFF
The Isle of Man Film Festival is returning this summer under the green banner 'Our Planet'.
It's the ninth instalment of the festival, which is to take place from 4 to 8 September.
This year it's set to include some of the 'world's top wildlife and environmental filmmakers'.
The festival is also launching a filmmaking 'Little Green Shoots' competition for children.
It aims to encourage creativity, but also highlight the dedication to the environment from the Island's youngsters.
Co-founder Christy DeHaven says "at the moment, it almost feels that it's a case of the children educating the adults when it comes to the environment!
"So we hope a number of them will show their dedication by entering this competition, which we are running with the assistance of the Biosphere IOM team and DESC."
As always many of the events on the programme this year will be hosted by the festival patron, Mark Kermode.
