Thriller 'The Auteur' took the prize
Isle of Man-based filmmaker Bethany White has won 'Best British Director' at the London Director Awards last night.
The writer and producer for the production house Dark Avenue Film took to Instagram, writing she was 'stunned' to win.
The Auteur is a short horror film depicting a "male film writer who begins to write his perfect, objectified female character to terrorise, but he's not prepared for her to fight back..."
She goes on to thank the cast and crew, saying 'I'm so proud of what we achieved'.
