Funds raised through staff activities to benefit local dementia care charity
The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority has continued its tradition of supporting local charities by raising thousands of pounds each year.
For 2024, the Authority’s nominated Charity of the Year was Alzheimer’s Society Isle of Man, an organisation dedicated to improving the lives of those living with dementia and providing crucial support to their families and friends.
A cheque for £3,000 was recently presented to the charity, by members of the IoM FSA’s Charity & Social Committee.
The funds were raised through various activities throughout the year, including dress down days, bake sales, a raffle, and the Santa Dash.
