Over 250 bikers carry wreaths to Staffordshire
Isle of Man Freemasons will lay a wreath this weekend ahead of Remembrance Day.
Last week over 250 riders of the Widow’s Sons Masonic Bikers Association carried 48 wreathes to the site, with the Island represented.
Beforehand, the wreath was blessed at a ceremony in Ramsey Masonic Hall and then joined the others being carried by the international group of motorcyclists including the Ellan Vannin Chapter.
It was mailed to overseas member Gary Wilson, who took the wreath from his home in north Yorkshire to Tamworth where he joined the leather-clad Freemasons for the final leg of its journey to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.
A delegation is set to travel to the memorial arboretum this week where Martin Blackburn, head of the Island's Freemasons, will carry out the honours.

The service will be held at the site in Staffordshire tomorrow (1 November).
A number of Remembrance Day services will take place across the Island next weekend.
