The next total eclipse the Island will see will be in 2151
Isle of Man residents are in for a treat on Wednesday (12 August).
There'll be activity in the sky in the evening and - as a bonus- at night as well.
The first is a partial solar eclipse, which will block 93 per cent of the sun, followed by the Perseid meteor shower a few hours later, which could show up to 100 shooting stars in an hour.
Chanelle Sukhoo has been speaking to Howard Parkin from AstroManx:
On Wednesday, the eclipse will start at 6.11pm and reach maximum by 7.09pm.
The moon will leave the Earth's solar disc at 8.03pm.
This is just a partial eclipse, while the last total eclipse the Island experienced was in 1792 and the next one will be in 2151.
Manx Radio has handed out 250 pairs of free solar glasses to members of the public.
