Manx music to join global celebration
Manx music is getting a spot on the global stage this month as it takes part, for the first time, in a worldwide festival.
Make Music Day encourages one and all to make and share music with each other - be that with friends, family, neighbours or strangers.
Launched in France in 1982, it's now celebrated on the same day in more than 1,000 cities and 120 countries, which will soon include us.
Chloe Woolley, who's Manx music development officer at Culture Vannin, says people around the world are excited about the Island's involvement.
Make Music Day is on 21 June.
