Manx charity seeing evidence of cost of living crisis
Manx charity Isle of Play has appealed for financial support after it says a number of people have come forward recently asking for help.
The chair of the organisation says three families with children approached them this week alone in need of basic items, as energy bills rise and the cost of living soars.
'I really think there's a danger some children will miss out. It's very difficult for a child to come to our play session if they haven't had a proper night's sleep because they're sleeping on a mattress on the floor - or they haven't had breakfast.'
