Changes subject to negative covid test
People who've tested positive for Covid-19, or who've been identified as 'high-risk' by the Island's contact tracing team, will need to self-isolate for a minimum of ten days instead of 14.
The changes, being brought in as government works to adopt a 'mitigation approach' to the pandemic, will come in to force from one-minute-past-midnight tonight.
The ten days isolation is subject to a negative Covid-19 'exit' test, while those who choose to not have a test will be forced to stay in isolation for a longer period.
Health Minister David Ashford says more details, including the costs of tests, will be announced in the coming days.
