Manx Wildlife Trust responds to IPBES report
The Manx Wildlife Trust says "it's time we took nature seriously, and invested seriously."
On-Island, the charity values nature in economic terms at £42million a year.
Those comments form part of a statement released by the organisation, following the publishing of a UN report on biodiversity and ecosystems on Monday (7 May).
Speaking on Perspective before the release of the report, CEO Tim Graham says urgency is now paramount:
The charity "hopes the Isle of Man community will get behind [them] and help put pressure on government."
