Follows incidents over the weekend
It's up to the public to keep the Mountain Road open.
That's the message from police today following a number of incidents which have seen the route closed since it became one-way on Friday afternoon.
A section of the road had to be closed earlier today after an low-level collision between a bike and a car, and yesterday it was closed after a visiting motorcyclist came off their bike at the 33rd milestone.
No injuries have been reported from either incident.
