Woman admitted theft of £97,000
A woman who admitted stealing £97,000 from the Isle of Man Courts of Justice while working there has been given a two-year prison sentence.
Appearing at Douglas Courthouse today, 49-year-old Katrina Mary Surridge, of Close Olley, previously pleaded guilty to three charges of theft, five of false accounting and one of falsifying records.
The offences were committed between between December 1 2014 and July 11 2015.
A proceeds of crime hearing is due to take place on November 18.
